Zero Compromise Optic (ZCO) is a fairly young company with one leg in Austria and the other in the USA. The company was founded in 2018 by well-known people in the optics and mechanics industry. To accompany their current riflescopes ZCO420 and ZC527 they are now releasing the ZCO840. The ZCO840 is an 8-40x56mm riflescope with a 36 mm tube. The parallax will focus down to 15 meters, a feature sure not to be underappreciated by those who shoot and compete in .22LR rimfire competitions. However, I think most buyers will be interested in the ZCO840 for the potential in Extreme Long Range precision shooting.

Here is the product description for the new 8-40×56 mm Riflescope:
The ZCO 8-40X56 was purposefully designed for the long-range shooting enthusiast that demands the highest level of optical and mechanical performance. With a magnification range of 8-40X, a time proven 5X erector ratio delivers the needed magnification and superior optical performance.
This optic delivers a higher magnification of 40X for the best view of the target and precise aiming for accurate shot placement. It includes our standard suite of ZCO features such as locking turrets and diopter, Advanced Illumination Management (AIM), and a finely tuned parallax that focuses down to 15 meters for the ultimate in short-range precision.
Shooters engaging in everything from NRL22 style competitions to Extreme Long-Range situations now have a top tier high-magnification optic that’s best suited to their specific shooting requirements.
